Election Fraud Presentation

On Saturday Morning, June 14th, Watchmen Ministry—A non-partisan election education group—will be joining forces with Eye on Elections to host a presentation on Election Fraud. The primary talk will focus on the threat of computerized fraud rather than absentee ballot fraud. Topics covered will include:

  • How Idaho is tied to a national system of computerized election fraud.

  • Evidence of Machine Fraud in recent Idaho elections.

  • Why recounts can’t “prove” fraud, and certification can’t prevent fraud.

  • How to secure Idaho elections.

  • Why political leaders won’t acknowledge election fraud.

  • Is CDA really liberal? How e-fraud turns Red States Blue.

The Election Fraud Forum will be held Saturday morning, June 14th at 10 AM, at Empowered Hearts Ministry, 1908 E. Seltice Way, in Post Falls. We hope to see you there!!

Greetings Patriots,

May was an active month for Eye on Elections members, and June promises to be an adventure, as we hold our first Public Presentation on the topic of Election Integrity.

Progress on Many Fronts

Eye on Elections members made progress on several ongoing projects and we are now in a better position to welcome more members into the group. This is an overview of some of our ongoing activities.

On the Hand-Counting front, Eye on Elections recently hosted its second Ballot Counting Party, and its first-ever Mock Precinct Count Exercise. We are gearing up for more hand-counting training in June, so if you are interested in joining us, please visit our Hand Counting Page to sign up.

Website updates—We’ve made a few changes to the website. Most importantly, we added a Hand Counting information page, and improved the Newsletter signup form. Idaho voters from all over the state can now join our group, and we now have contacts in several cities in southern Idaho as well as in the north.

Eye on Elections at the North Idaho Fair—We are starting preparations for a booth at the North Idaho Fair. This could be a great way to reach out to people who are concerned about election integrity. Expect more information about our fair project by next month.

Poll Workers and Poll Watchers—For the May election, at least five Eye on Elections members served as poll workers and three more volunteered as poll watchers. One was even posted as a watcher in the Kootenai Elections Office (see photo). Hopefully we’ll have even more participation in the November elections.

Election Integrity, National Events—Some very encouraging things have been going on at the national level regarding election integrity.

Improved Hand Counting Tally Sheets

Following our April Ballot Counting Party, Eye on Elections made improvements to both our tally sheets and our procedures for counting. We studied several tallying methods, and came up with the following preferences.

  • Tallies 50 ballots per batch—Batches of 50 ballots make sense, first because they are a good batch size to scan, and secondly because 50 is an easy batch size for anyone to verify independently.

  • Undervotes and Overvotes counted—By keeping track of undervotes and overvotes (that is, ballots on which no candidates, or too many candidates were selected), counters could add the total number of valid votes, with the total number of invalid votes, and make sure that all 50 ballots were tallied.

  • Tally ovals, grouped by ten—We found this style of tally sheet, used by several other counting organizations, to be easiest to fill out and easiest to read.

Based on our initial trials, we believe that it will take most counters about 5 seconds per contest to fill out these tally sheets. Since our sample ballot had 13 contests, counters took about a minute to complete each ballot, and about 50 minutes to complete a batch.

Anyone who is interested in either practicing ballot counting at home, or joining us at one of our Ballot Counting parties, can find instructions on the Eye on Elections Hand Counting web page.

Mock Precinct Count

Once we had trained a group of volunteers to count ballots correctly, it was time to do a “dry run” that replicated the conditions of an actual precinct count. Eye on Elections hosted its first Mock Precinct Count in May, involving 8 volunteers. The group was able to sort, scan, and count over 650 ballots and upload all vote-counting files to a publicly viewable google drive in less than three and a half hours. These files included 14 batches of 50 ballots, 18 sets of tally sheets and a spreadsheet with the complete tabulated results. The complete Precinct Count files can be seen here on the Eye on Elections Google Drive.

Significantly, we were able to upload all 14 batches of ballots to the google drive only an hour and fifteen minutes after we opened the ballot box, a full two hours before tabulation was completed. There were a few hitches, however, and we think we can improve the efficiency of recording and verifying the initial tally in future exercises. We’ll have a report with suggested improvements in the next few weeks.

Federal Progress on Secure Elections

During the Biden administration, it seemed all efforts to expose problems and clean up elections were stymied, but with Trump back in power, some positive changes have been made in the area of election integrity.

Eye on Elections tries to keep the focus on Idaho election issues, but it is good to know that under Trump, federal agencies in charge of election infrastructure are working with us, instead of against us. These are just a few recent developments at the federal level that promise to make it far easier for Idaho to clean up its elections.

Elections investigated by National Intelligence Director—Trump has assigned Tulsi Gabbard to begin investigating election fraud, and she has already affirmed that "these electronic voting systems have been vulnerable to hackers for a very long time."

Trump Fires Chris Krebs, head of CISA—One of the worst problems with elections in previous administrations was that the DHS's cyber security organization, which was tasked with securing national elections, covered up problems instead of exposing them. Under Krebs, CISA allowed unaccountable cyber-security NGOs, such as CIS/EI-ISAC direct access to the nation's electronic elections infrastructure. But instead of identifying problems, they appear to have enabled fraud. Trump's Department of Homeland Security has cut off funding to CIS, and is now investigating them for possible criminal activity.

Executive Order on Election Integrity

Best of all, Trump recently signed an Executive Order Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections. Among other things, the order enforces citizenship requirements, and mandates significant improvements to the security of voting systems. Another very significant part of the order is section 7, which requires states to Comply with Federal Law setting the National Election Day. This could mean that states that have implemented early and mail-in voting regimes are in violation of federal law, and that Trump's administration may enforce single-day voting.

Musk, DOGE and Election Integrity

We'll end the June Newsletter with a few encouraging words from Elon Musk, as he affirms that computers cannot be trusted to run our elections.

But Elon has done more than just criticize computerized elections. It turns out that DOGE, the federal agency led by Musk, has established its own system of cross-referencing government databases to root out illegal aliens and other phantom accounts. Unsurprisingly, it appears that DOGE's system is far more secure and effective than the extremely faulty system put in place by HAVA (Help America Vote Act).

Further, only a week ago it was announced that the Louisiana Secretary of State had agreed to use DOGE's system to clean up the state's voter rolls. This could be HUGE, since Idaho's voter rolls are a mess, and our Secretary of State does not appear to have a viable plan to clean them up.

If this newsletter was forwarded to you from a friend, or if you saw a link to it on social media, please consider joining the Eye on Elections movement for election integrity. You will receive a monthly newsletter and special notice for upcoming meetings and events in your area.

Secure, transparent elections are something that every American should desire and be willing to support. Best Wishes and God Bless.
